Quality ingredients make quality products. While There are few skincare regulations in the United States (and very few ingredients are banned), the European Union (EU) has stricter regulations and bans over 1,300 ingredients. That is why Sally B’s products are made with ingredients that align with EU regulations. We use organic and Fair Trade ingredients whenever they are available and don’t use harmful, artificial ingredients. It is important to read and understand the ingredients, but it can be overwhelming. Here are a few of the things you should always avoid: mineral oil, parabens, propylene glycol, and artificial fragrance. The Environmental Working Group is also a good resource.
